I am pretty much done with this week! I have a date tonight, a first meeting. I am not really sure how it’s going to go but it will be something different. Meeting out in Fort Worth. You have been on my mind a lot this week. I truly hope you are doing well.

100 Days. Scarborough starts next weekend. I remember sitting alone in that bar after you left and one of the milestones was faire. I thought I’d never last that long without you in my life. I did. I’m better for it. Not because I lost you but because of what I’ve learned by losing you. Life changes come when you least expect them.

Just another Wednesday. Work is pretty steady. I hope you are keeping busy and doing amazing projects. Celeste is on her first date with a woman I introduced her to a while back who I have known for 22 years and reconnected with over Facebook a while back. That’s a long story, hopefully I’ll get to tell you it. I also have a date on Friday which I am a little bit nervous about.

I was putting together music for a wedding this morning. This couple is using almost all Macklemore tracks for the ceremony. I listened to them all and most of them remind me of specific scenes from our friendship.

It’s a Monday, what can I say!

Today was great. Got a lot done on the house with yard, plumbing fixes, etc. Did a photoshoot with Bennett for a senior girl which turned out great. Hail storm tonight missed us but I saw that it hit Taryn’s house pretty hard.

Today was mostly relaxing in the morning and I had a wedding at 3 o’clock that went until about midnight. This was the first gay wedding I have done where it was two women. It was beautiful and reminded me of the friends of yours which we photographed at the Arboretum. That was a good day for us. We needed more of those.

Today was another gorgeous day. Just sorry we had to pack up and head home. Will be visiting again I’m sure. I’ve put a lot of work into the Xterra these past three months and it runs great now which makes campler trips a little easier. I keep hoping you and I will do Help Portrait or Shaina’s event next year but I realize that is unlikely. It took me awhile this weekend to shake the memory of the RV’s last use, which was with you. I miss your friendship and three months has done nothing to diminish it.

Today was very nice out here. A little windy. Mostly stayed in camp and let the dogs play. Did some writing and took some pictures. In the late afternoon, took the dogs and did a five mile hike. There are some great trails out here and rock climbing areas. I’m thinking I might get back into climbing. It’s been many years and it’s a good workout.

Made it out to Mineral Wells State Park this afternoon in the campler. The sky is full of stars. It’s amazing. I knew people did astronomy here but it’s just insane. I found traces of you while I was setting up. Little reminders of our friendship are everywhere it seems.  I truly hope you are happy.
